EXIBITION

Established in 1850, the Ulverton woollen mill is activated by a turbine. The machine room displays functional machines that are more than a century old. Guided tours are offered every day starting on June 20, until August 30 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Trails

The mill is graced with magnificent surroundings. Five (5) kms of trails criss-cross the forest and river. Along the trails there is a picnic area, shelters and a sheep pen.

Wool and sheep festival October 10-11

For the the young and old, sheep will be on the premises. During the festival, visitors can attend demonstrations on shearing, crafts, and various transformations. Sample lamb, cheese, bread, regional products, and other delicacies.
